Use your developer account and Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles to manage your membership and development settings.
About Your Developer Account
If you’re new to development on Apple platforms, you can get started for free. Simply accept the Apple Developer Agreement and an account will be created for you. Use this account to download beta software and tools, visit forums, and report bugs.
When you’re ready to build more advanced capabilities and distribute your apps on the App Store, you can join the Apple Developer Program. If you join a paid program, you’ll see additional membership-related options in your account, such as team information, access to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, code-level support, and more. You'll also see additional options if you join the Apple Developer Enterprise Program to distribute proprietary, in-house apps to employees within your organization. Get step-by-step details on managing your account.
Resetting Your Device List
If you are the Team Agent for your Apple Developer Program team, you can reset your list of development devices each year using Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles. You can register up to 100 of each device type for testing and Ad Hoc distribution per membership year. At the start of your new membership year, you and any Admins on your team will be presented with the option to remove listed devices and restore the available device count to 100 when you first sign in to Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles.
Although you may remove a device from your account during the year, it will continue to count against your device limit. When resetting your list, make sure to remove all devices you no longer use for development before adding any new devices.
Managing Team Members
If you are enrolled in the Apple Developer Program as an organization and hold either the Team Agent or Admin role, you can invite co-workers to join your development team and remove existing team members in your account settings. Members of your development team can access the benefits included with your membership. Learn more about team roles.
