Reply to Scrolling with Apple Pencil does not work in 9.3.
I hope they add an option to enable scrolling. To be honest using the pencil to scroll the entire surface area is a lot eaiser then using your finger. I know this is a first world problem, but my arm gets sore using the pencil seems to use less energy. ALSO more importantly I hope Apple realizes it super not convient to scroll with a Pencil in your hand. It just awkward to transition from Pencil to Finger vice versa.

Battery sharing idea
Build the ability to airdrop or “Apple pay” type of technology but to share battery life. Use case: I was recently at a sporting event with my daughter and needed to leave her there and I didn’t have a charger to give her. Her phone was at 11% and mine at 76% I wish I couldn’t texted her some of my battery power or tapped my phone to hers and approve a battery life transfer. Sending this thought to others who would know better how to make that a reality.

Reply to SIRI not working with GM release.
If you've got battery life issues as well then the following steps may help:Make sure your paired iPhone(s) is on iOS 9.0 GMUnpair the watch from the iPhoneRe-Pair watch and setup as new deviceOf course, it's not ideal having to do this, but it's better than poor performance and short battery life.Max.

Reply to iOS 9 Beta battery life
This is what I'm interested in. From a technical standpoint what causes battery life to be reduced during beta releases? The UI seems a little snappier as well as app switching and just general performance on my 6. I am also seeing the battery drain issue as per normal beta performance. Just interested in why. Obviously optimisation is key but is the OS collecting data on performance for Apple techs to analyse? And how much optimisation will apps need to do upon public release? I am finding software development more fascinating all the time :)

Reply to iOS 14 Beta Battery drain on iPhone 6s
This is a follow-up to my post from yesterday re the ridiculously short battery life of my iPhone 6S following the iOS 14 update. Per Apple's direction, I erased all the content from my phone and then reinstalled it from my iCloud backup. My battery is still draining way too rapidly. It went from 100% to 18% in only 3 hours, with only modest use. I can no longer use this phone as a phone, as I will need to be near an A/C source with my charging cord at all times. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE, APPLE??? You made my perfectly functioning phone completely unusable. HOW AND WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO FIX THIS??

Reply to battery life
Im finding that battery life is good until I try to use directions on Maps, which no longer works. When I try to set up directions on the phone, they dont get sent to the watch, and when I try on the watch, it just says loading and never stops. When this happens, the battery drain is extremely bad.

Reply to watchOS 7.3 battery drain issue
I have the same problem after updating my brand new AW 6 to 7.3.3. Battery life went from 24 hours to 12. I urgently need a solution, and don't tell me to turn off a bunch of things, like Always On - they were working fine WITHOUT battery drain in the day prior to the upgrade. Thanks.

Reply to Any one have charging issues on beta2? 6 plus won't charge past 49%
Only way to tell what my real battery level is at is to reboot. Last night for about 6 hours though I was so happy thinking wow my phone has been at 52% they really did a great job with battery life, went to bed and plugged it in only find it still at 52% in the morning. I rebooted and that is when it was back at 100% that is when I had the ah ha moment and realized it was a bug. I plugged it into my Mac and iTunes doesn't show the correct battery % either.

Reply to watchOS 4 Beta 2: HORRIBLE BATTERY LIFE
I agree. Beta 4 is doing much better for battery life. On one of the old activity faces I have just under 50% still at 5pm. Looking sort of normal now.

Reply to Apple Pencil Pairing Issues
i'm having the same exact issues. Trek all the solutions other posters have noted with no success. However I can pair a $19 Wacom stylus with no problem While the $99 Apple Pencil is virtually useless until Apple does something.

My battery life has improved incredibly. Yesterday before the new beta I was charging it back up around 2pm after 14 hours. Today I am at 46% and have been using it for 17 hours.

Reply to Dreadful battery performance Beta 5
Follow Max108's suggestions and you'll get all-day battery life. I'm getting about 18 hours before a charge, after re-pairing.-Lee

Reply to iOS 9 gm iphone 6 plus how is the battery life any issues ?
Same for me on iPhone 6 with Apple Watch running watchOS 2.The last beta was great but the iOS 9 GM battery life is really bad. I upgraded to iOS 9.1 Beta and that hasn't fixed the issue. I'd greatly appreciate any suggestions. I've read elsewhere that resetting all of the Settings fixes it, but I'm reluctant to do that.
