iOS 12 Beta 7

Hi

Ive just installed iOS 12 Beta 7 on my iPhone X. It still shows that an update is available to install. When trying to open apps, they grey out for up to 30 seconds before opening.

If your going to install iOS 12 Beta 7, be cautious.

If anyone else is getting the issue or finds a workout, let me know.

Thanks

Barry :-)

Hi

How did the reinstalling of iOS 12 Beta 7 via iTunes go? Issues fixed or still remaining?

Thanks

Barry

Mine has been stuck for 2 hours now

Hi

Those stuck on the Apple Logo, are you all iPhone X users?

Thanks

Barry :-)

Same issues exist. Stiil shows badge on settings askiing me to update even though I have the latest. Seems the longer it is on, the smoother things get, but still some lag launching apps. Seems stable enough, just dont know if and when apps will delay launchinig.

Hi

Thanks for the update. I'm kind of hoping Apple pull iOS 12 Beta 7 and re release it again tomorrow. I guess that wont happen. We'll just have to wait until next Monday for Beta 8 :-(

Thanks

Barry

Yes I am iPhone X. I am trying to update via iTunes recovery mode (w/o erasing all data / full restore). Fingers crossed!!!!!!

Hi

Let us know how you get on with that :-) If you report back a success, I'll give it a go :-)

Thanks

Barry

So far no luck. The process completed, but still stuck in a reboot loop. I am going to give it a little bit of time.

After this, I am thinking of downgrading to the beta 6 IPSW

Same here, lag opening apps is gone (a few minutes after install). Update badge is gone too after a reboot

Hi

What are the necessery steps to downgrade to iOS 12 Beta 6. I've never done a downgrade before.

Thanks

Barry

iphone X also having lag after update. Install crashed after completing, reboot brought it back online. All apps set for background refresh. Apps lag on launch for 5-10minutes. Reboot seems to cause the lag to return. Seeing if turning off background app refresh helps after reboot.

Same here bug report filed. You all should file bug reports on the update badge and the laginess.

Nope, Mine is an 8 Plus. Was sluggish for a few minutes then functioning normally but the update badge is still illustrating an available update.

This didn't work. Got stuck in recovery mode. Holding option and clicking update in iTunes, then selecting the IPSW file.

iPhone X here. Install took at least 30 minutes with multiple reboots. Settings showing badge that an update is available. Very laggy at the beginning, but it seems to be getting better.
