Hi,

We are developing an application which will allow the user of the app to talk to health counsellors/specialists. Members will be able to communicate with counsellors only after purchasing a subscription plan which will allow the members to chat and make calls to counsellors within the app.

Pls advise whether we can implement Apple Pay using Stripe in the app which will allow the app users to buy the subscription plan in order to communicate with the health counsellors/specialists.

A quick response will be highly appreciated.

Apple will not reply. Only other developers.

You sound like you are actually 'selling' 2 things - the actual consulting services and the connection to the consulting services. You can sell the consulting services (e.g. $10 per minute to speak with Dr. X) using a third party payment system - and you can't use IAP for that. But if you are selling the connection - (e.g. one year of access to ConsultingApp that allows you to view consultants qualifications and per minute costs and connect to them) then that must be through IAP since that is unlocking code within the app.
