does anyone knows if iPhones and iPads are aptX capable for streaming audio over Bluetooth? The industry seems to have accepted this protocol but not Apple. I cannot buy a high fidelity DAC receiver for AirPlay, it's not relevant anymore. I need Bluetooth aptX.
As you know, Apple couldn't care less about standards and therefore has no aptx support. Effectively this means that while they took away the phone jack, they left no great way of getting good quality sound on a wireless phone that doesn't depend on their proprietary phones or buying a DAC. Typical.
