Hi 🙂.

You need to attach your iPhone to your computer and open the iTunes page showing your device. Then hold the alt key (Or the Shift key if you're running Windows) and click the "Update" button. Then find the iOS 9 .ipsw file that you downloaded and select it. Now you will be updated but your user files will remain intact, like with an OTA update.

I understand your instructions above but I can't find wehre to down load the file. I am on the Download page, it shows the beta, and the GM, I see the download on the upper right hand corner but when I click on it nothing happens. I am also logged in.

If I click on the More Information Tab it takes me to another page that tells me the download is here and when I click on that it takes me back to the previous page.

So I am lost again. You have been so helpful in the past and I thank you in advance.

After you login to apple developer site and go to the downloads tab, you will find the iOS 9 GM seed.

There you need to select your device model(iPhone/iPad/iPod) to download it.

Then follow the steps mentioned by Max108 to install it on your device.

Hi Max, given the public beta...is there no over the air update? My phone is promoting me to update via a pop up yet this one has the public beta not the dev build.

I am at the site. I see the two downloads for IOS 9 available. But I don't see where I can add my device even when click on the download tab.

Are you logged in with an AppleID that has a current Developer membership?

I believe I am. I am using my same credentials I used when I got the beta in the first place. Was I able to get the beta without a Developer Membership?

Well you could have got the Public beta of course. Also there are other places that one can download the .ipsw files for beta iOSs. Are either of those possibilities?

If not then try another browser on your computer and go back to the download page: https://developer.apple.com/ios/download/

I found my original email from when I signed up. It gave me a link and told me how to download the profile and when I went there original I had to sign up. I did the profile thingy and downloaded it over the air.

And when I log in to the download page now it accepts it with no problems. I will follow your link with another browser.

No, there's not an OTA update for Public Beta testers yet - though there is some hope that one might get pushed later today or perhaps tomorrow...

Your phone is prompting you with that because it's been more than a month since you installed the last beta - but it doesn't mean that it's about to fail.

Probably going to give up Max. But thank you so much for your help. Your link did not work on another browser I just get the same thing. I even did a search for Apple Developers and it took me to a log in page. It even said at the top Apple Developer Page with the log in screen. I logged in and I went right to the page of your link you posted above and have the exact same results. There is no place to download even after clicking on the Download button it takes me right back to the page I am on. I don't get to the place where it ask me what device I am downloading for.

Again I appreciate your help very much. I may look at it another day more or wait for the OTA.

Is this the best way to get a completely fresh install of the software to overwrite what was previously installed beta wise so that it eliminates any bugs hanging around? Also, should you delete the beta profiles before or after the GM install? Thanks.
