iTunes taking several hours or days to Process uploads

Filed as a bug: 22658008

It's unacceptable that suddenly all builds uploaded (above 30mb or so, but these turn into 150mb or more when bitcode is included) take several hours or days even in Processing time. They don't come out of this state and it's impossible to test apps using TestFlight anymore. We sit and wait but testers run out of patience and bugs need to be identified and squashed in a timely fashion.

Same issue here. Multiple apps and builds stuck in "Processing" - very frustrated.

This is still a major issue with no response from Apple. Tons of developers on Twitter complaining of the same thing

3 builds here stuck in processing for over 20 hours...

15 builds in processing O_o

Randomly one of them success...

I only got one success last night. Otherwise, no luck! I have other app transferring ticket that stays in triage queue forever. iTunesConnect has the worst support ever!

Same situation. 😟 Those that have passed past couple of days have been without third party ad libraries. Coincidence?

At least one of my apps has no ads or 3rd party libs and has been stuck over 24 hours. That said, I had two other apps that were submitted about the same time - one of them was "processed" after 6 hours (no ad libraries) but the other with ad libraries is still waiting about 32 hours later...

My app has no 3rd party libraries but is stuck whenever certain on-demand resources are included. Doesn't seem to be a conclusive link.

It's so frustrating, Apple knows this is serious but they're clearly (speculation alert) spending far too much time on marketing and fixing tvOS bugs. Apple: we're not interested in new offerings if it comes with a deterioratation of existing platforms.

Mr. Jobs please help us. It seems apple is going down the drain. Its been Cooked by Cook

I want my $99 developer fee back. What's the point if your app sitting in process state for 2 days?

Should I contact Tim directly or he's too busy creating a larger 70" ipad?

I was having the same problem - stuck on processing for over 24 hours. Then I resubmitted with a new version (not just a new build number, but a new version number) and that did the trick - the new version got out of processing in less than 15 minutes. (the old version is still stuck in processing, but I don't care about that one anymore).

Well, this is strange. I have the El Capitan GM installed and the public release of Xcode 7. When I uploaded my app for the fifth time, it worked and came out of processing, but it had a yellow exclamation point and said that the binary was too large. I saved it and submitted for review anyway. Within minutes it changed to invalid binary, and I got an email from Apple that said i can't submit apps with beta software, it has to at least be GM! I am not using beta software!!

Anyway, I reinstalled Yosemite, then Xcode 7, recomplied and submitted. App went through (still getting the too large limit error), submitted for review, and everything has been fine. Apple really needs to get these issues fixed.

The uploads seem to be working better for me this morning. Getting past "processing" stage within 30 minutes. I doubt it makes a lot of difference but I have turned off bitcode for the four builds I uploaded today

My builds were just processed quite quickly too, though the system still seems a bit unstable.
