application upload stuck verifying assets

has anyone seen the problem of the application uploader getting

stuck at "Verifying assets with the App Store"?

this seems to happen every once in a while

when it does, you are dead in the water...

any solutions, workarounds?

i tried rebooting and deleting upload

tokens in ~/.itmstransporter/UploadTokens

then retrying...no luck.

does this mean the app store is just too busy?

I've been getting this since yesterday afternoon. Thought it was a problem with my network, but I've tried on multiple Macs and multiple networks... but it still gets stuck on "Verifying assets with the App Store"

I have the same error, it's stuck on "Verifying assets with the App Store" for about 14 minutes then I get an error that tells me:

The session's status is FAILED and the error description is 'failed to open ssh session. (16)'

Any idea what might be causing this. It was working fine pre iOS 9 upgrades.

I'm getting the same error all morning (The session's status is FAILED and the error description is failed to open ssh session. (16))

I also just updated Xcode to 7. I've restarted Xcode a couple of times and rebooted my mac.

Yes. This has been occuring for me with almost all app uploads since iOS 9 was release. I have a dozen or so uploads with the same version and build numbers which all say "Created". One gets listed every time the upload fails.

Of the couple of builds that did succeed, one processed and the other two are stuck in the "Processing" status.

Note that this is just for internal TestFlight testing, which is not possible at the moment since builds cannot be updated.

This seems to be an ongoing and common problem based on the other similar discussion threads, and unfortunately as of now there seems to be no acknowlegement of the problem by Apple or workaround offered.

I have the sema issue today with tvOS app and xcode beta 3.

In beta 2 everthings works fine and also with xcode GM.

I suppose is a Beta 3 problems, but I'm not sure...

I have the same problem. For 10-14 days I have tried to upload my (first) app without any luck.

Today I uninstalled/installed xcode to get the latest Application Loader (version 3.6), but it did not help.

I can't validate the archive or upload it to app store. And upload from Application Loader does not work either. It hangs.

A few times I got an error message indicating that I can't contact Apple, maybe because TCP port 443 is being blocked.

But in macOS the firewall is off, and as far I can see my router does not block any ports.

I am running macOS Sierra (10.12.1), Xcode 8.0 (8A218a), Application Loader Version 3.6 (1020).

Did you solve the issue ?:

UPDATE:

Yesterday I made a hotspot with my smartphone, connected my iMac and retried upload with Application Loader.

And miraculously it worked...

God knows why - and why I did not try that before...

Best wishes, stigekalder
