Can't upload to workbench

Whenever I try and do "Upload to iAd", the upload seems to go successfully, but once it's complete, a message pops up that says "Unable to decode server response after uploading" and my ad never appears in the Workbench website. What does this message mean? Is this happening to anyone else?

OK, thanks for pointing this out!

I wonder, are you using source control with your .iadproj? and can you check in web inspector if there are any missing assets prior to the upload?

I'm not using source control.

I'm not sure where messages about missing assets would appearin the web inspector, but I don't see any. (There are no errors, and the only two warnings are "iAd.Video does not support non-inline playback[etc...]" and "iAd.Device.iOS_VERSION is null".

I have the same problem as sleepybeaks,

when uploading to workbench I too get the "Unable to resolve server response after uploading" error.

What I have tried:

Uploading from different macs;

Using different internet connections;

Uploading a blank page;

Uploading an unmodified blueprint;

Reinstalling iAd producer.

Uploading to sandbox never results in errors.

OK, @sleepybeaks and @Haleixo and anybody else who has the same issue.

We are umable to reproduce this internally so we are thinking that it's either something in the project file or the way iAd Producter is acting with your network configuration.

So, next steps are:

• file a report at http://bugreport.apple.com

• attach the .iadproj and System Information report

• post the ID of the bug report here

• I will follow up on these personally on a case by case basis

Hopefully that gets us back on the right track and we can solve this issue.

Thanks

1) What is this 'system information report' you're referring to?

2) We've already established that this happens with blank (and blueprint) .iadproj files, do we still need to attach those?

Thanks for your support matts,

Here is my bug ID: 22994238

It was my first bug report so I hope that went well!

Sleepybeaks,

For "system information report", check this out: https://developer.apple.com/bug-reporting/mac/system/

I didn't upload any project files, since this is happening with a blank page for me as well 🙂

Great, thank you.

I already mentioned it in the previous thread, but for the sake of having everything in one place, my bug report is 22820214. I've now attached a system report to it.

Also, to bring back up something that came up in the previous thread: someone (you?) said that I could contact the iAd Workbench team, and they would be able to move my ad from the sandbox into my workbench so I could run the ad.... I contacted them, and they just told me that they "escalated [my] request" a week ago, and the ad still isn't in my workbench.

Is there any workaround we could use to get ads running in the meantime? Is there no way to just manually upload a .zip file somewhere? I've kinda been sitting here with my hands tied on promoting an app all week...

Is there anything we can do to get a log of what this "un-decodable" response was, so we can send it to you, to help you understand what's going wrong?

You could try capturing a HTTP log using Charles Proxy. Thanks!

Done and attached to my bug report (22820214).

Is this issue resolved? I'm facing the exact same issue as the OP here. Thanks!

Here's my bug # 23232080

They've told me they've identified the problem, but they're still in the process of fixing it.
