9.1 Beta 2 OTA

My iPhone 6 Plus has yet to see the update checking OTA, the iPad Mini picked it up just fine. I've done all of the usual restart, etc to get the phone to pick up the update up, but no sucess yet. I'm installing through iTunes, but wondered if I'm odd man out here.

Just curious

Same for me. None of my beta devices have picked it uo yet.

Hi Chris,

Go to Settings > General > Profiles and remove any profiles you find, because they can and do block the recognition of available updates. Afterwards, you will need to restart your iPhone or perhaps even reset it by holding down the home and power buttons together until the screen goes black.

You can then re-install any profiles you think you may need after the update.

Max.

Once I deleted my original 9.1 beta profile, I had to hard restart my iPhone before latest update showed as available for download.

Glad it worked for you, and thanks for the feedback - I've edited the post to refect that.

Max hi uri here do i need Beta 1 For Beta 2 ? Can i update from 9.0.1 to 9.1 beta 2 directly?

Anyone?

Hey Uri,

Yes you should be able to update directly to beta 2 so long as your device is registered. I believe this beta release was for developers and if you are not one the public beta should be released shortly (maybe tomorrow). All you need to do is download the profile from beta.apple.com and wait for the public beta to be released. Hope this helps. Although, you might be able to download this version of 9.1 beta 2 by, 1. download profile (this will restart your phone) 2. delete profile (settings - general - profile - delete profile) 3. restart the phone 4. check for software update.

Thanks for suggesting, but I had already did all of that, needless to say I got it through iTunes but appreciate the feedback anyhow!

update through itunes works fine if there is profiles

As of 21:40 EST, I manually requested the OTA update without a settings Push notification and am currently updating awaiting a restart. Not much help but I've found since iOS 8 that OTA updates are extremely hit-or-miss with actual time pushed to the clients and actual time I've received either the Push notification or manually been able to do an OTA update through settings.

I hope not, I deleted my developer credentials because that is what I was told to do, and I have yet to get the update...
