App-Review wait time?

Hello there!

Basically I am just wondering how long the app review will take? I submitted my app last Saturday(3 days), and it's still pending. How long will I have to wait? I've read on numerous forums that it can take up to 10 days? How is that even possible?

Another question;

While submitting my app, I was asked if I was using any Advertising Identifiers. I also looked this up, because I have iAds in my app - but according to many other developers I didn't have to check this - because IAd was not a part of that framework or something. Is this right?

Like you said, it could take up to 2 weeks. It is what it is. Been that way since 2008.

You can go to appreviewtimes dot com for an approximation of the current review times. The current average is about 7 days I think. This isn't official Apple data (it's crowd sourced from voluntary submissions by developers) but it gives you a feel for it. Note the distribution chart - there is a wide variation. An individual app can take anywhere from a day to a month or more.

Don't know anything about iAd but I think if neither your code or a framework you link with is specifically calling identifierForVendor, then you should be fine answering No to that question.

Apple has their current review status/avg. wait times (new/updates), here: https://developer.apple.com/support/app-store/

Upd to 10 days is possible due to the presumed large number of new apps that are submitted each day. Of course, the more complex the app, the longer it may take.

I see. My app is far from complex(3 views and 43MB), so I hope that it will get approved. However, thanks for the feedback from everyone.
