iTunesConnect asks for iPad Pro screenshots

Hi,

I submitted a new version of my app. To my surprise, I see a new warning popping up in iTunes Connect which says:

"Your binary is designed for iPad Pro. Upload iPad Pro screenshots for a better App Store experience."

But there is no way to add iPad Pro screenshots yet. I assume this is a glitch for an upcoming feature in iTC.

Any resolution for this? Or I should just ignore this for now?

Thanks,

Károly

The usual fallback is to run the simulator and grab whatever screenshots may be needed from it.

Use the sim's menu to capture/save, or cmd-c to capture to the clipboard and then 'create new' from, say 'Preview', where you can complete the process, etc.

I've got this too and no option to upload iPad Pro screen shots. No doubt error on Apple's side.

I don't see An ipad pro simulator either in Xcode7.01?

I get this message too but see no way to upload screenshots for iPad Pro.

I didn't find an iPad Pro simulator in XCode 7.0 and saw some newsgroup posts that it was only available in XCode 7.1 so I downloaded 7.1 Beta 3. I then brought up the iPad Pro Simulator and took a screenshot. BTW, it takes a better quality screenshot when you're at 100% scale. Also, I saved a 2048wX2732h portrait-sized screenshot which follows what was done for all the other Devices based on pixel size.

As previously mentioned though, there is no tab for iPad Pro to upload this to. So, I tried uploading into the iPad tab and received a "The dimensions of one or more screenshots is wrong" error message with a link to the docs that don't have a size for iPad Pro.

I suppose we will just have to wait for word from Apple on this.

Perhaps all you need is an iPad Screenshot. Do you still get the error after uploading one of those obtained from the simulator 'save screenshot'?

My app had an iPad screenshot already and was accepted but I didn't release it because it needed a few more changes. I submitted a new build and then I saw the suggestion to upload an iPad Pro screenshot.

Are you saying "suggestion to upload an iPad Pro screenshot." or "requirement to...". If "suggestion" then see my post above as the solution to the OP question.

Had come across the same thing, and as of today there is an opportunity to upload screenshots & video for iPad Pro.

What should be the size of the new screenshots?

I'm asking again, is it required to upload iPad Pro screenshots now? Or is it optional?

I just submitted an app for review, and it only gave me a message saying that uploading iPad Pro screenshots will give "a better App Store experience".

The ipadPro resolution screen shot is 2048x2732 or 2732x2048 http://www.apple.com/es/ipad-pro/specs/.

Just use a standard ipad screen shot and chage the resolution. I can be changed choosing many files at the same time with previos photo view app.

I hope it helps

There is a tab on itunesconnect.apple.com where you uploaded the 5.5', 4.7" etc screenshots. With the iPad tab there is another tab which iPad Pro so you should upload the screenshot there having resolution 2732 x 2048 pixels or 2048 x 2732 pixels.

In simulator use scale 100% and the screen shot will be uploaded correctly
