OS X 10.11 Beta Software Compatibility

So far everything is working but CISCO Anytime Connect VPN. Anyone found the same?

Same for me... but I blew it out anyway... had some issues with Disk Utility but im good now. Runnign Parallels with a regualr VM of Windows 10 with no issues.

Office 2016 was working fine but now with the update yesterday Outlook has some visual issues/bugs.

Reflector 2 - Not working

Lync for Mac - Not working

Evernote - Working

Dropbox/OneDrive/GoogleDrive - Working

Thanks. Mine doesn't. I connect to an Outlook.Office365 server. Do you do too?

I noticed that Unibox is having some serious rendering issues in the email view pane... but otherwise seems okay.

BTW - Anyone else see that Apple's own Facetime is busted? (cannot make/recieve calls)

---------------------------------

Unibox: not fully working

Facetime: won't make calls in/out

I have recently found that SuperDuper! Backup is blocked. It appears to be deliberate, hence rather disturbing.

Quicken 2015 works fine for me.

Chrome - generally works but crashes during file selection modal (something like upload)

BusyCal crashes

iStat Menu not working

Total Finder not working

Photos crashes each time it loads.

In MAIL the Media option is categorised by iPHOTO (remember iLIFE?) not Photos App.

Runs hot too ... fans kicking in too soon IMHO.

> Photos crashes each time it loads.

Actually that appears to be Mac Model or perhaps graphics card dependant. Mostly MacBook Pro's from Mid 2010 are crashing.

Presonus software crashes on load

•Presonus StudioOne 3

•Presonus Capture 2

•Presonus Universal Control AI

Ecamm iGlasses doesn't work - can't access cameras

All my Adobe Creative Cloud apps (Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat) seem to be working fine.

The Neat for Mac software works fine, but the drivers for my Neat Receipts mobile scanner do not. The scanner is no longer recognized, even after reinstalling drivers.

My Boot Camp VM in VMWare Fusion didn't work, but wiping it out and creating a new VM works fine.

I am pleasantly surprised to find Aperture working very well. No question, it is opening images faster.

Chrome (44.0.2403.39) is extremely slow under El Capitan on my Core i7 Retina iMac. I've tried both the latest production and beta builds and in both cases, there is sporadic stuttering in video content, and things like collapsing and opening DIVs render slowly as well. I found that forcing GPU rendering on all layers helps a little bit, but Safari is still much smoother. This didn't happen under Yosemite, so I suspect that there is some incompatibility or optimization needed.

Are smart folders and searching and filters working with Outlook 2016? See this on Outlook for Office 2011.

have you reported that?

There appear to be serious problems with kernel extensions that relate to USB. Kensington Trackballworks (v1.2.1) causes kernel panics when installed (reported). Phone Amego (USB/modem/telephony) brings down system with total freeze (reported). Suspect similar drivers would have similar serious conflicts.
