Unable to load facebook

Hardly just him. Look at all the replies below. I am having the same issue.

Same problem here. Only fix is to restart El Capitan, and that's only temporary--works for a while, then absolutely nothing fixes it unless the OS is restarted. I haven't seen this on any other site. Very paculiar.

Not for me. I have to restart El Capitan, same for others.

Strange thing is, I can still interface with Facebook using Notification Center and other means--it's strictly related to Safari. Why??

Ive found Safari in general to be a flakey mess so far.

I had the same issue, looks like it delt with a SSL certificate in the keychain that expired or is not compatible with el capitan. Basically you have to go in and delete a specific invalid certificate. Just open up keychain and run a search for VeriSign Class 3 Public Primary Certification Authority one of them says it expires in 2016 but in fact its invalid.

The VeriSign Certificates are not used at all by the https-connection to facebook. I would not recommend deleting root-certificates...

Running 10.11.1 as of today's update: Facebook loads but Private Messages no longer load on either Safari or Firefox.

Rebooting doesn't solve the issue for either Safari or Firefox.
