Just like the headline "Unlock iPhone require pressing Home Button?" are this true? I though the screen should turn one using gyro? Anyone experience it?
This will kill Home Button...😢

I think a simple touch on the home button should be enough if TouchID is enabled.

Hi Ben,
Got that part, however its very annoying because you will need to press that button.
The screen does turn on by raising the phone up. To unlock to the home screen requires the press.
It makes the lock screen more useful since it was completely useless in iOS9.
Which iPhone? With my iPhone 6 Plus raising does nothing...
Mine (5s) neither.
You need to turn on the Raise to Wake settings under Displays \ Brightness.
That said, it is only working for iPhone 6S and above.
I don't see that settings for my iPhone 5S.
Neither on an iPhone 6 Plus
No, I think they changed the way to log into the phone now. It's a two step process for phones with Touch ID, if you put your finger to the sensor, it unlocks the phone and pressing the button lets you in. I have stronger words for "don't like" to describe the new way to log into the phone. I'm guessing people were logging into their iPhones accidently or too quickly and maybe that's why they changed it. Either way, if Apple has made up their mind about the new login, it's not going to change.
