Raise to Wake On Older iPhone

i have mailed apple for this feature i.e Raise to Wake in iOS 10 on older Devices . please all of you do that same as greater number of people would support the feature to be enabled on iPhone 6 /6 Plus ,they might as well enable it as they gave a reply that this request has been fwd to appropriate team

Email ID - eurodev@apple.com

Make sure that many people do mail them so we can see the feature enabled

But... "Raise to wake" uses the motion coprocessor - in the iPhone 6/6plus it's an M8, in the iPhone 6S/6Splus it's an M9. The key difference between the M8 and M9 is that the M9 is more efficient and can run whilst the iPhone is in sleep mode without draining the battery.

If "Raise to wake" was enabled on iPhone 6/6plus I expect people would protest about the poor battery performance of iOS10. It's the same reason that you can't have "Hey Siri" enabled in sleep mode on the older models.

If you want the latest features you need to buy the latest phone!

Agreed, it's all about the hardware with those features.

Then the choice to disable it on those older devices could be used to avoid any battery issues for those that worry about that level of detail.

i think they should provide a toggle and let the user decide to enable it or not ,if he wants to save battery he would disable it and if he wants the feature irrespective of battery performance he should enable it

that what i think as buying a new hardware every year in country like india requires a fortune it costs 62000 INR or 920USD for a 16GB iPhone 6S,hence they should consider the option for making it avaliable to older devices.

Yes I agree but newer iPhones are not cheap

I believe they already have a toggle to turn it on/off. Unless there are more battery issues, even when turned off, this looks more like a sales approach to enourage buying newer devices.

I also agree
