I use airwatch for my work email and some apps. Now that I updated to iOS 10.0 beta 2 they are gone. When I try to install the profile from airwatch it installs but then disappears. I can't access any of my work emails or the apps anymore is there a workaround?
Airwatch
I'm running into the same issue. After upgrading to iOS 10 Beta 2, my device was unenrolled from Airwatch. When attempting to enroll, I receive the following error
Your device, iphone iOS 9.3.2 G5MC, is currently in violation of your organization's compliance policy:
Compromised Status - iOS: For Jailbroken devices
Yep, similar here. Device had the profiles removed (which causes de-enrolment) and trying to re-enrol just gets stuck in a loop on the "Enrolment in Progress" page after having confirmed I wanted the profiles installed. AirWatch was a real problem in previous betas on iOS 9, looks like we were lucky with the first 10.x beta.
I wonder if it's related to the decryption of various parts of the kernel and OS in beta 2; that AirWatch is looking for something that isn't there any longer.
On the plus side, no more work meetings!
Same here and everything was fine in iOS10 beta 1, same issues were found after ios10 beta 2 was installed.
Same here. I see the profile installed then it immediately deletes the profile as it cycles back to the Agent software.
For what it is worth, AirWatch is aware of the issue; lots of people commenting in their forums about it as well. Only advice for now is to downgrade to iOS 9, or wait.
Somewhat of a fix for me at least is that if you use the air watch browser for anything don't use it! The issue I feel is tied to the browser. I haven't used it and I was able to re enroll just fine and use my corporate email too. I work for Walmart if that helps anyone as an assistant MGR. Hope this helps!
Unless there is something else in play, and you have verified it's permitted, this is likely a result of your Adminstrator setting the required OS levels. This is as designed and for security reasons where AirWatch and it's MDM services are not certified for use on iOS 10.
Airwatch checks in to your company server every few hours, depending upon the settings of the server, and when it detects an unuthorized OS it will immediatly disable your device. Your device is still enrolled but once it checks in, at install or later, and transmits your device info, it will evaluate and disable again.
Again these are your company's Adminstrator settings who, if they are as daring as you, can allow the software to run in the beta.
BTW: this will also happen if it detects you have jailbroken your phone.
Exactly the same here
Airwatch is detecting iOS 10 Beta 2 as being 'jailbroken'. This, oddly enough, was not occuring in Beta 1.
If anybody tries this with Beta 3 released today, please provide an update on if this issue has been resolved.
Tested on Beta 3 today and the issue is still there.
Same issue here, cannot enroll my device since Beta 2 😟
Let me know if you guys have any luck with Beta 4 released today. Can't believe that AirWatch still hasn't corrected this issue!
Nope - still doesn't work in beta 4
Can someboday take time and frame the excat issue? and what might be the root cause?
