Airwatch

I use airwatch for my work email and some apps. Now that I updated to iOS 10.0 beta 2 they are gone. When I try to install the profile from airwatch it installs but then disappears. I can't access any of my work emails or the apps anymore is there a workaround?

I'm running into the same issue. After upgrading to iOS 10 Beta 2, my device was unenrolled from Airwatch. When attempting to enroll, I receive the following error

Your device, iphone iOS 9.3.2 G5MC, is currently in violation of your organization's compliance policy:

Compromised Status - iOS: For Jailbroken devices

Yep, similar here. Device had the profiles removed (which causes de-enrolment) and trying to re-enrol just gets stuck in a loop on the "Enrolment in Progress" page after having confirmed I wanted the profiles installed. AirWatch was a real problem in previous betas on iOS 9, looks like we were lucky with the first 10.x beta.

I wonder if it's related to the decryption of various parts of the kernel and OS in beta 2; that AirWatch is looking for something that isn't there any longer.

On the plus side, no more work meetings!

Same here and everything was fine in iOS10 beta 1, same issues were found after ios10 beta 2 was installed.

Same here. I see the profile installed then it immediately deletes the profile as it cycles back to the Agent software.

For what it is worth, AirWatch is aware of the issue; lots of people commenting in their forums about it as well. Only advice for now is to downgrade to iOS 9, or wait.

Somewhat of a fix for me at least is that if you use the air watch browser for anything don't use it! The issue I feel is tied to the browser. I haven't used it and I was able to re enroll just fine and use my corporate email too. I work for Walmart if that helps anyone as an assistant MGR. Hope this helps!

Unless there is something else in play, and you have verified it's permitted, this is likely a result of your Adminstrator setting the required OS levels. This is as designed and for security reasons where AirWatch and it's MDM services are not certified for use on iOS 10.

Airwatch checks in to your company server every few hours, depending upon the settings of the server, and when it detects an unuthorized OS it will immediatly disable your device. Your device is still enrolled but once it checks in, at install or later, and transmits your device info, it will evaluate and disable again.

Again these are your company's Adminstrator settings who, if they are as daring as you, can allow the software to run in the beta.

BTW: this will also happen if it detects you have jailbroken your phone.

Exactly the same here

Airwatch is detecting iOS 10 Beta 2 as being 'jailbroken'. This, oddly enough, was not occuring in Beta 1.

If anybody tries this with Beta 3 released today, please provide an update on if this issue has been resolved.

Tested on Beta 3 today and the issue is still there.

Same issue here, cannot enroll my device since Beta 2 😟

Let me know if you guys have any luck with Beta 4 released today. Can't believe that AirWatch still hasn't corrected this issue!

Nope - still doesn't work in beta 4

Can someboday take time and frame the excat issue? and what might be the root cause?

Can you take time and frame the excat issue? And what are all the options that you tried ?

Hi,

I had the same issue. In my case the solution was to abort the final part of the process. This left the Digital Workspace installed and the background install processes started after a few seconds. Now I'm back in business.

Any luck with iOS 10 Beta 5 released today???

No luck with Airwatch with iOS 10 Beta 5

I just encountered the same issue today, I also work for Walmart. It worked perfectly fine throughout all updates on iOS 10, but today I downloaded beta 5 and I needed to get on the browser and as soon as I opened it i was kicked from airwatch..

I've been running into the same issue since beta 2 but what seems different than everyone else is that this has only affected my iPad running iOS 10 b5. My iPhone is running the same software and I haven't had any issues with airwatch.

Thanks!!! This worked for me. I installed the profile and then before clicking done I closed AirWatch app and then it worked my email loaded perfectly

Read above comment. I am on beta 5 when my issue began. I followed the instructions and when the phone went to setting and I installed the profile, before touching done I closed the app so it wouldn't open. Since I did this my work email and contacts have loaded perfect. I am not opening AirWatch app for fear it will kick input again

I had this issue too. I tried a reset all settings and didn't have any luck. I ended up setting my passcode back to the 6digit kind (also added a 6digit code to my watch). This time when I went through the add process (didn't go back into Airwatch at the end when it would do the redirect). I was prompted to change my passcode to comply with the policy. I was then asked for my email password. Then after a while things all worked. I'll just avoid going anywhere near Airwatch for now. It did't work for me until I changed my passcodes though. Hope this helps someone.

Any changes with beta 6?
