Hi there,

I'm totally new to iOS development but I urgently need to update our apps since iOS 10 is comming soon.

On the MacBook that I have been given and the previous developer was using to create the apps - I downloaded Xcode_8_beta6.xip using Chrome.

Moved the file from Chrome to Desktop and clicked on it. At first I've got: "Expanding "Xcode_8_beta_6" and then "The operation couldn't be completed. cpio read error: Undefined error:0" .

I re-downloaded the file, I checked it's size: 4,386,106,593 bytes 4:39 GB on disk .

I'm not sure how to deal with this issue.

What's your system version? my friend that system version is 10.11.6 can install it and version less than 10.11.4 have the same problem with you.

Now It's confirmed that it relatives to system version. My friends who system version is 10.11.2, update to 10.11.6, has installed it successfully.
