How to turn in-app purchased auto-renewable subscription use promotional offer?

I'd like to know how do I make my promotional offer available for my current subscribers.

Currently we are using a Monthly auto-renewable subscription but we would like to offer a free 1 year subscription.

Is that possible?

Yes, You can set up 1 year free promotional offer in App Store Connect and merchandise it in your app to the target users.
