iCloud for Mac is stuck on "waiting to upload"

This has been a bug for a while now on Mac OS. When you sync your desktop/documents folders with iCloud at random moments it gets stuck and never finish uploading. The folder says "waiting to upload" indefinitely. I notice it happens more often when you do a git commit on a folder that is synced with iCloud.

Are there any work around for that?

Please free some space on iCloud!! Not sure if we got exactly the same issue. iCloud got stucked on "waiting to upload" today when I was trying to save a file to iCloud in order to share it on MacBook. I checked my iCloud storage. Less than 100M left but the file is bigger. Hope this helps.

So I have had this ever since I updated to Sequoia I think, although mine is waiting to update, this also seems to cause crashes and freezing when trying to open the file picker/saver on any app.

What has to happen for Apple to address this issue? This is the essence of what CloudDrive is made for and it doesn't work. If McDonalds sold food you simply couldn't eat I assume they would address it... You have the resources. I'm paying for this service!
