Hey guys, actually I am still new with iOS development. I have been struggle with this things for almost 2 days. I already have Macbook but no iphone. So, I'm thinking on distribute it in .ipa file so people can use it by downloading it in a website. I am currently using simulator to test the app. Is it possible to not having iphone but developing an iOS app? What is the reason I always get
"Failed to create provisioning profile.
There are no devices registered in your account on the developer website. Plug in and select a device to have Xcode register it."
Can someone help me? I don't know who to ask anymore

You need to have a device to sign the app. Unsigned apps are nearly impossible to install.

Any iOS device will be OK. You can probably find a very low cost second hand device.
It would not be very serious to distribute app without testing on at least one real device.
