We recently started receiving CONSUMPTION_REQUEST notifications on our server, but our app only supports a single auto-renewable subscription group.
The documentation here and here seem to indicate that this only happens for consumable IAPs.
Is it intended for us to receive & respond to these notifications for subscriptions as well?
Same here, we have received this notification from 7 of June until 10 of June for auto-renewable subscriptions. It seems to have stopped the last 4 days. Is that the same for you?
Yep, looking back we received from June 7 to June 10 as well.
It would be very helpful if Apple's services kept a public log of incidents/temporary bugs like this so that we could determine definitively that we correctly understand the expected behavior.
I guess it must have been unintentional. So I've closed our internal issue about it.
