MacOS Monterey Beta 4 and Microsoft Teams

Yes I have that issue also in teams on Beta 4 (not Beta 3)

Same here - app launches but cannot connect

I deleted Ms Teams, re-installed it, and working well with Beta 4

I can confirm that this started with beta 4, it worked with beta 3. Deleting Caches/App-Support/… and reinstalling didn't fix the problem for me.

Also only a Beta 4 issue. Reinstalling didn't fix for me either.

Yes, i have the issue MS-Teams on beta 3 and 4. The error code is Error 2:-1001 even i tried to remove the Teams folder from dir Library/Application Support/Microsoft and tried reinstall the MS Teams but unfortuently the same issue.

Tried with the public beta on another machine (intel) and it works (its usable) but a bit laggy.

Also did a full install on the original Mac mini (M1) and its now usable.

Same here. M1 mini with beta 4. Had no problems with Teams on previous betas. Tried removing all, caches, etc. and reinstalling but no luck.

Having same issue. M1 mini with beta 4. I had slight issues with previous betas however Beta 4 has made teams unusable. Removed and reinstalled everything with no success.

Completely unusable for me as well since Beta 4. Reverted to using Teams via Firefox as a Web version.

Same here with my MAC mini and Monterey beta 4. it just hangs. nothing happens. I have had to revert to using the web app instead due to my inability to run the native application.

When I successfully installed the macOS Monterey on my Mac, after few days, it became slow and started freezing randomly. Then I encounter that the actual problem was with my storage and excessive load on Mac’s memory. 

Same problem on my M1 MBAir and Monterey Beta 4. Teams worked fine with Beta 3. Uninstalled Teams using AppCleaner, After re-install of Teams, connection took a long time (around 5 minutes) but, once connected, has been working fine.

Hello, After installing the Monterey Beta 4 package, all browsers except Safari started to freeze a lot. (Opera, Chrome, Brave etc.) What could be the reason for this? Is there a solution?

I am having the same problem with teams keeps crashing also having the issue with Google hangouts

Same problems here. MBP M1 16GB. MS Teams can only be used once after a reboot, then I have to reboot again to use it. Also in general the systems fans are more active then on beta 3 and everything feels a lot less snappy than before. A little bit of the M1 magic faded with beta 4.

Yes, I am also having unresponsive issues. It works with lag when I log in as administrator but not when you are with the standard user,

I just noticed that if I run WiFi and a Wired Ethernet connection, I can get the app to perform normally. Something you might want to give a try

I too have same issue. reinstalling team did not help. Will revert back to old stable version of mac tonight

I also experienced this issue

I have same problem with Beta 4 on my M1. Rebooting the OS fixes the issue until you leave the machine for a while and then it bascially freezes and only another reboot fixes it. Interestingly It works inside of Chrome bowser on Beta 4 with no issues so its specific to the Teams Mac App.

installing beta 5. will report back if the issue improves with the new version.
