How do I delete greyed-out certificates?

I'd like to delete these, but I can't because they are greyed-out. They also prevent me from creating a new certificate.

There was an error attaching screenshots on this forum for some reason, so I uploaded them here: https://imgur.com/a/ZHlJ4yC

Can anyone help me out please?

I tried deleting my Apple ID from Xcode and sign in again, I tried doing it with the root user, I tried safe mode, I tried completely deleting the app along with its related files and reinstall it... Is there a command I could execute with the Terminal to delete those?

Thanks!

What type of team is this? Free? Individual? Organization? Enterprise?

It's a free dev account

It's a free dev account

Hmmm, that makes it tricky. With paid developer accounts you can manage this stuff in Certificates, Identifiers, and Profiles on the developer web site, but that’s not available to free accounts.

Do you know how these additional certificates got created? Do you have multiple Macs in play? Or multiple user accounts on your single Mac?

I'm stupid, so I initially created them for personal use, but then I deleted them from Keychain Access, so now they don't exist anymore at all. That explains why they are greyed-out in Xcode, but I'm unable to delete them from there in order to be able to create a new certificate.

Edit: I already contacted Apple about this and they asked me a bunch of questions only to tell me that there is a dev forum.

I already contacted Apple …

OK.

Unfortunately there’s nothing that I can do to help out here. Fixing this on your account requires privileges that I don’t have. And AFAICT that’s true for all the other folks who participate here on DevForums.

That leaves you with a few options:

  • You could push back on the account support folks.

  • You could create a new Apple ID and use that for this work.

  • You could upgrade to a paid account.

Is there a way I could grant you those privileges?

No. I’m referring to privileges to access systems here at Apple.

So there’s no way I can delete them?
