How do I prevent Mac OS Monterey from blocking 3rd party software installation.

Are you developing this software? Or is this software you got from another third party?

I need an answer to this question.

I'm developing this software and i'm trying to install it on my own machine. I packed it with Electron-builder. Installer says its complete, but i have error in installer console "Packagekit: PKInformsystemPolicyInstallOperation failed with error: An error occurred while registering installation with Gatekeeper".

Does that error prevent the app from being installed? Or is the app installed but you’re concerned about the implications of that error?

Yes. I can not find application in launchpad or on hard disk.

Interesting.

I presume you’re trying to install your package using the Installer app. If so, what does it’s main UI display? A generic ‘installation failed’ error? Or something else?

Also, have you notarised your installer package?
