I want to give away my app to certain customers so I created promo codes. At what point in the purchase of the app does the buyer enter a promo code I gave them so they are not charged for the app?
I did a test purchase and I was charged for the app and never had an opportunity to enter a promo code during the purchase.

In iOS, customer, with promo code in hand, opens App Store, taps his/her account avatar, then taps "Redeem Gift Card or Code".
I'm not sure, if a Promo code can provide any discounted price, Anyone aware of this? How this can be done?.
Last time I remember, Promo code provides app for complete free of cost. I'm not sure, Appstore connect provide any provision to give a promo code to an associated discounted price or discount percentage.Unless the whole thing done by inApp purchase.
