Hi,

I'd like to submit my App for review for to allow external testing in TestFlight.

The App itself should confirm to all App Store requirements (at least to my best knowledge), but is all the "metadata" required for TestFlight Review - so App description, Screenshots, Privacy Policy and all this in App Store Connect? I have not filled that yet and wanted to wait until the actual beta testing is done - in case some changes are made that would require update all of that otherwise.

I hope I can get the TestFlight review without having to fill all that out for now...

Yes you can. Once you have uploaded a build for distribution, it will be checked. As soon as check is OK (in the next few hours), you should receive a mail like this:

The following build has completed processing:
Platform: iOS
App Name: Your app
Build Number: xxx
Version Number: xxx
App SKU: your app
App Apple ID: xxxxx
You can now use this build for TestFlight testing or submit it to the App Store.

And you can then use in TestFlight.
