Not sure if this has already been discussed here:
As early as October 5, 2022, prices of apps and in-app purchases (excluding auto-renewable subscriptions) on the App Store will increase in many countries. Apple states that developers "can choose to preserve prices for existing subscribers". However, it is not explained in more detail how to achieve this.
So here is my question: Is there any action developers need to actively take before the price increase comes into effect to ensure that existing subscriptions will not become more expensive for users?
If anyone here has experiences from previous price increases, I would very much appreciate if you could share any insights. Tanks in advance!
