What are the required screenshots for the apple mobile ios publication?

I get several error messages when I submit screenshots to the apple application store for preview images. Are we required to submit 6.5 and 5.5 size images?

In App Store Connect, the media manager shows you the required screenshots. Anything that's optional, well, it says "Optional" by it.

For example, in this image I don't need to supply 6.7-inch screenshots because the 6.5-inch ones are being used.

Yes you are.

You need 4 types of screenshots:

iPhone

  • 6.5"
  • 5.5"

iPad

  • Pro 3G - 12.9"
  • Pro 2G - 12.9"

I use for instance the following simulators:

iPhone

  • 6.5" : iPhone 11 Pro Max
  • 5.5" : iPhone 8 Plus

iPad

  • Pro 3G - 12.9" : iPad Pro (12.9) (5G) - 5G is OK here
  • Pro 2G - 12.9" : iPad Pro (12.9) (2G)
