iPad Application for version 15.7 with xcode 14.0.1

Hi,

My app is rejected twice due to the pre-release issue. My application is for iPad device only and i am using xcode 14.0.1.

According to the apple review my xcode is extracting the build for iPad at version 16 which is not yet release.

So my question is that If i download the 15.5 simulator in xcode 14.0.1 and create a build (As i cannot delete ios 16 in xcode 14.0.1 it was in-built) then it will automatically pick up the 15.5 OS version for iPad

OR

I have to downgrade the xcode version from 14.0.1 to 13.4.1 to get it approved.

Please review and help me with this.

Thanks

You have to use Xcode 13.4.1 to release an iPad app at the moment because iPadOS 16 isn't yet released.

Yes it's ridiculous, and yes, it's Apple's idiocy that causes this issue. Oh, and yes, the App Review team don't specifically tell you to use Xcode 13.4.1 for some unknown - ridiculous - reason.
