Screen flickering after iOS update 15.5

It happened with my iPhone 12 mini. I was getting notification to update my phone to iOS 15.5 but since my phone was never sufficiently charged, the update was getting deferred. One night, I plugged my phone to charger and overnight the update happened. Next day, on that very morning i received a call and was talking over it. I got some other notification and i switched my app and oh my goodness!! there was pink color flickering all over my display. The more i used it, the more it happened. Contacted apple support, they asked me to take my phone to apple service center first and then they'll see what they suggest. I did the same thing, now there at service center, the engineer asked me to submit my phone as they need to run some diagnostics to see if the issue was with the hardware or the software for which i had to pay. Next day, they called me and said tests are getting failed so we need to replace the hardware. Since, my phone was only 1.5 years old and it was very expensive for me when i bought it, I didn't want to spend money on new phone. So, I paid the amount needed to replace my display. I tried explaining them that it happened due to software update and i never dropped my phone but they had to run tests. Now, the next tragedy was they called me next morning and said display replacement did not solve the issue and they contacted apple for this. What Apple suggested was to try replacing one more time and if it does not work they need to send the whole unit to them to take a look. After taking next 3-4 days they informed me that there is a problem with your chip and that needs to be replaced. However, replacing chip will cost you the price of a new phone. Any solution for this?
