I would like to offer a free 1 month to existing subscribers. This will not be an upgrade, just one free month.
It looks like I can do this with Apple Promotional Offers, however I noticed here (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/in-app_purchase/original_api_for_in-app_purchase/subscriptions_and_offers/implementing_promotional_offers_in_your_app) that "Once the offer period concludes, a promotional offer auto-renews at the standard price."
If I have a user who is already getting a 25% discount for X months, because they have used an Offer Code, and I offer them 1 month for free, after the free month will they go back to paying full price, or will they retain their discount? it is not much of a reward/incentive if they end up paying full price after the free one month, I would prefer they go back to their previous price.
Is there a better way to offer existing users a 1 month free incentive?
