Xcode crash when upload to app connect

Hello! I tried to upload my app to AppStoreConnect with Xcode.

But, when I try to distribute my app and uploading to AppStoreConnect, Xcode crash and terminate with below log

Xcode 15 is in beta, you can't upload apps built with it yet. It probably shouldn't crash, but that's irrelevant to the actual issue.

  • you should still be able to upload it to TestFlight. I am getting the same crash while trying to beta test on TestFlight

Getting the same error.. even with the RC today. I can't even upload to TestFlight internally. Interestingly, I can upload another app of mine without issues.

  • I am getting this same crash with the GA of Xcode version 15.0 (15A240d), but only with my WatchOS app, the same version of the app I wrote for iOS, macOS, and tvOS all upload fine.

  • OK solved it. Updated to 15.0.1 and saw that CFBundleShortVersionString was missing on one of my targets (sigh)

even i in a brand new macOS and install Xcode to upload apps to notarize, it crash anyway.

turns out you have to login your account in the appstoreconnect.apple.com to renew and agree all new agreements, once you did, Xcode stop crashes.

  • I have reviewed and agreed to all agreements (no outstanding agreements) and I still get the crashes. -nvm = OK solved it. Updated to 15.0.1 and saw that CFBundleShortVersionString was missing on one of my targets (sigh)

Alright so updating to Xcode 15.0.1 provided me with a much clearer error message upon attempting to upload. The cause to my error was that I had a v in my Version v2.0.1. The error provided me with that information that it must be decimals only with no letters.
