Seeing a major overall system slow down after installing 10.12.5 beta(16F43c). Anyone else having this issue or have any thoughts... Mid 2012 13" MacBook Pro
System slow down after 10.12.5
I do. Overall slow preformance, only difference is the upgrade to 10.12.5 two days ago.
Programs takes long time to start, files takes longer time to load.
Working in the programs seems ok.

Same here but I have macOS Sierra final, not the beta.
Overall system slowdown. Safari is definitely loading slower. Takes longer to open apps, even native Apple stuff.
The only change made is the upgrade to macOS Sierra 10.12.5

It may be possible that macOS is indexing, or performing other background operations after the update. You can check to see if your drive is being indexed by using Spotlight to search anything, and then looking to see if a progress bar appears at the top of the results list. Spotlight indexing can reduce system performance until it's done.
