My CarPlay is not working since upgrading to iOS 18. The speaker is monotone, only comes out of one of my car speakers. This is incredibly frustrating please fix. I’ve also found that scrolling through the different apps is not as dynamic as it was in the past.
Since the update to IOS18, CarPlay (wired USB) sound in my car only comes out of 1 speaker and is of a poor quality. When disconnecting CarPlay and connecting via Bluetooth, the sound is perfect.
Our engineering teams need to investigate this issue, as resolution may involve changes to Apple's software. I'd greatly appreciate it if you could open a bug report and post the FB number here once you do. Bug Reporting: How and Why? has tips on creating your bug report.
