Will RCS messages be filterable by a message filter extension?

A message filter extension is only forwarded SMSs by the OS for filtering, iMessages aren't. But what is the situation with RCS messages? Will they be filterable by a message filtering extension?

So the Message Filter App extension will allow filtering of RCS messages, correct? What about messages from email addresses (unknown)?

Just tested, the extension is filtering sms but not RCS messages….

in addition, the reporting app is not triggered when clicking on report but I got a message saying this message will be sent to Apple and my carrier.

please advise on how to leverage my filtering and reporting app with RCS messages. There is nothing in the doc.
