How can I implement the 30-second long exposure of the built-in night mode?

I tried stacking 30 RAW exposures of 1 second each, but the quality is far inferior to the 30-second long exposure in night mode.

There is no supported way for an app to implement this functionality, please file an enhancement request using Feedback Assistant.
