Generating codes for apps and selling them on

Here's the scenario:

I'm at an event where people want to buy my app, but they can't do it on their device at that time (e.g. no internet/they don't have their device/it's too much of a faff). In this situation, I'd want to sell them a code for the app which they can redeem later. The code would be sold for the same price as the app in the App Store.

Is there a way for me to do this that doesn't break any Ts & Cs?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't see a way your scheme would work with an app store app. What you want to do is to effectively sell your own apps without a store transaction.

The only way a user can use an authorized redeem code (vs. a promo code) to download an app from the store via iTunes is when they've been gifted the app. Gifting involves a store transaction to obtain those codes and by definition, they are not meant to be resold.

Buying and re-selling via gifting is out; generating your own codes that can be used with the store is out; unlocking content via a code doesn't apply because you're trying to re-sell apps, not content.

Would you send Apple a check for the 30%?

You can provide (aka sell) (I believe up to 100) promo codes for your app - that violates a provision for the use of the promo codes but I suspect Apple won't go after you for their 30%.

Sorry, I've not been clear - I don't want to circumvent any Apple payment systems! In my head generating the codes would involve me purchasing them via Apple somehow, but I obviously didn't write that down.

@KMT - I had explored the gifting route but stopped after a quick glance at the Ts & Cs said they can't be resold.

So it seems like I've not missed anything obvious. Thanks for your help anyway!
