Hi, I downloaded a few files from apple developers website, and they are in .reality file format. I wanted to see how they are constructed, but there is no way to open them and look at the content inside (3d model, shader, animation, etc). Is there a way to look at the content of .reality file?
Hello,
It looks like we provide this information about .reality file format:
"You can also save your composition to a .reality or .usdz file for use as a lightweight AR Quick Look experience in your app or on the web. This allows users to place and preview content in the real world to get a quick sense of what it’s like."
See Export the composition for previewing.
So AR Quick Look can open a .reality file, and when saved from Reality Composer a .reality file is equivalent to what's in a .usdz file.
Given that Reality Composer Pro and .usdz are the preferred content creation tool and export format we recommend using those instead.
