I have an iPhone 14 Pro. I downloaded the iOS 26 beta and had a SERIOUS error, rendering the phone unusable.

I charged it to 60% and kept it plugged in while updating.
While updating, I restarted several times at the Apple logo, then at the Welcome screen, and it had quite a few bugs with low battery warnings.
When I turned it on, I noticed I had 1% (I thought it was strange).
When it was plugged in, it wouldn't charge; it only had 1% left, and it also restarted every 2 minutes. Off-plugged, it did exactly the same thing.

In the end, I had to go back to iOS 18.5; I had no problems with this version.

There was a misunderstanding in point two: The iPhone restarted three times under the Apple logo. Upon startup, it only showed a white screen and a "Low Battery" warning, then restarted again. When it turned on, the rest happened.

Hi @valennwft,

Were you able to resolve your issue? If not, I'd initially suggest following Step 4 in this process to put your device into recovery mode, then try the install again.

I'm experiencing the same issue on my iPhone 11 Pro. How did you downgrade from version 26 to 18.5? Is there a chance I could lose data? My phone keeps restarting automatically, and I can't access iTunes to downgrade.

I loaded the IOS 26 beta today on my iPhone 12 Pro and had this exact same problem. i had to go back to iOS 18 and works fine now.
