Big Issue With iOS 11 & 12.9" iPad Pro Stuck At Boot Up

All

I've been using iOS 11 on a test 12.9" iPad Pro (1st gen) without issue. Today however I used the iPad Pro to the point it ran out of power. I plugged it back in at the poing of powering down and now (for at least 2.5 hours) it has been sitting at the white bootup screen with the black Apple logo. Holding Power + Home button causes it to restart but again back to the same screen that it doesnt move beyond.

Anyone else seen this and or know a workaround ?

I've raised a bug on this as well

Thanks

I am having this same issue on my iPad Air 2. It looks like several people are having this happen after their iPad dies. You can restore the iPad by plugging it into a computer, opening iTunes, and entering recovery mode.

Yup iPad 4 is messed up as well. :(

Same here. hope they fix this.

I am going back to 10.3 to get my pad working again.

I have upgraded 3 times and works for a while then same issue.

I had the issue 2 times today with full battery life on my iPad Pro 12.9 1st gen. I had graphic glitches on the home screen and it wouldn't let me go into folders. Kept trying to delete apps instead. Went to restart and it just froze on the Apple Logo. Restored to iOS 10.3.2, updated to iOS 11 and rstored from iCloud, same thing happened again. Going back to iOS 10.3.2 for now until next beta release...

Same issue here on an iPad 10.5"

Same here with iPad 10.5" ... boot logo appears and stays forever.....

I can't get past the stuck logo. I have tried to update and to restore and update multiple times. Any ideas on how to get past the stuck logo?

same thing here on the ipad pro 9.7"

I have a related problem on my 12.9"

iOS 11 did not install, insteady it got stuck near the end of the process. I have now DFU rebooted and attempted

1) iTunes restore to factory settings

2) iTunes restore to backup

Neither works

I have seen the same behaviour with a number of iPads, particularly the Air 2 confirmed not accepting charge when under 10-15% battery resulting in being stuck at the boot screen.

Workaround I have found at the moment is to charge in recovery mode, I have used 2 sessions of recovery mode to get 30 mins total charge, after this the battery is above 20% and returns to normal behaviour.

Following the above will avoid unnecessary restoring of devices.

Recommend charging in a powered off state where seeing this issue, is a good idea to feed back to Apple where you're seeing this too so it can be fixed in upcoming beta.
