I just updated my watch to OS 2 b2 the other day. I too had troubles getting the pairing fixed - had to reset my iPhone a couple of times but finally got it.
But now my watch battery life is horrendous. I charged it overnight. At 6 AM this morning it was 100%. Now 4 hours later I am down to 30% battery life. Under OS 1, I was getting 30% after more than an entire day of use.
Are other people seeing this?

yes, I get 4 hours on a full charge...battery life is awful! Watch is about useless.
Same. There's a similar thread in here with several people having issues like it. I'm getting 4-5 hours also. Tried airplane mode, do not disturb, and silent mode. Still getting awful battery life. Hopefully Beta 3 takes care of this, the watch is pretty much useless right now.
Same issue, baterry drainage, random reboots and freezings. The funny part is that in the beginning of the watch OS2 beta 2 release, I dind't have that issue, but it started few days ago.
i think it is the start of apple music and ios 8.4 since this date i have the same problem with my batterie life and the reboots as faythebest.

I was researching an unrelated issue at work and noticed my watch was almost flooding the dhcp leases file (wifi IP address for watch itself). These seemed interesting but I don't know if it is a part of the problem either. After 8hrs since last charge I'm at 44%, which is not nearly as bad as yesterday. There are probably multiple factors in play here.
Yeah i experiencing the same. Charge all night, turn it on @ 7 and by 7:15 im down 10%. I get about 4 hours before it asked to be in Power save mode. Ive turned off everything possible. Now playing gone from Glances, reporting turned off and still extremely fast battery drain. This happened a few days ago. Before that it was at least 8 hours. Now no imessage and no calls can be made. Hoping Beta 3 helps. If not its just an expensive Seiko watch.
I got 5 hours tonight..lol I did chat with apple, and was told I would have a box with UPS on the way and I can send it to apple and they will downgrade. I will wait until B3 comes out to see whats up...If not, I am going to send it back to downgrade back to 1.01 for now.
OK. So the time on a charge varies a LOT.
So this morning, it died within six hours. Since I charged it this afternoon, it's been going now for about six hours and I'm at 55%.
So it's very strange. It was the same way yesterday too. Horrible in the morning but much better after the mid-day charge.
What is frustrating though is that nothing really seems to work. I don't get any notifications, or anything. Yes, it's beta and only beta 2 - I know. 🙂
As Exodeon mentionned, it might be due to the Apple music launch. Lots of data are being transfered I think. Mine is okay right now, it did reboot once but better than the last 2-3 days. Let's see and hope to get it fixed by nxt week with beta 3
Same here, unfortunatey. Had to buy a second charger for the car. Hope Beta 3 to fix this.
Same here. Since the update my Watch dies after about 6 h. Something is seriously broken here.

I don't get Numbers on Usage & stand by anymore in the iOS App!
Could this be related to some battery management changes?
I also see only just a few icons in the App Layout overview.
The watch used to run the whole day without any issues, usually with 35+% left after 16h (even with the first Watch OS 2 beta).

So my watch didn't freeze for 2 hours but the battery would drain very very fast. It freezes again and have to reboot. That's when it uses lots of battery. I am at 10%, put it on charge. I don't see numbers on usage and stand as well. Don't know whats hapenning but it's really annoying.
i'm having the same issue. The OS 2 is burning about 10% an hour. I've attempted to roll back to 1.1 but even with the backup it will not allow you to do so. Are there any solutions yet?
Not sure how Developers are suppose to test their Apps on such a buggy OS.
