*Warning* Attempting to roll back from iOS 11 Beta 2 to iOS 10.2/10.3 causes a boot up into recovery mode!

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but attemping to roll back from iOS 11 beta 2 on an iPhone 7 to iOS 10.2/10.33 on final boot after restore, causes the device gets stuck in recovery mode.

Have tried to roll back to iOS 10.3.2 or iOS 10.3.3 and same issue.

This was working with iOS 11 beta 1 and all previous beta's.

Anyone else seen this?

better you can download 10.3.3 restore image file from apple

if you go directly into 10.3.2 it won't work and u can't exit from the recovery mode

here is the link

Thanks, this solved the issue since ios 11 beta 1 was no longer avalable. 🙂

I solved this problem

first I'm download iOS 10.3.3 beta 4 IPSW and restore with itunes to iOS 10.3.3 beta 4 and downgrade iOS 10.3.3 beta 4 to iOS 10.3.2 final version.

You should recheck the notes. You can only revert to the latest Beta 10.3.3 NO earlier. So download the image from the developer page then force the use of this file and all is well!

best option is to:

I found this link for Apple's website which shows how to downgrade from the IOS 11 public 2 beta

Hi' yesterday an iphone7 plus came for flashing set was ruuning, i did'nt see its current ios (whether it was on 10.3.2 or 11 or on any beta versions) & started flashing on ios 10.3.2 via itunes, flashing started but at the end it gives error (-1). I 've flashed it 10.3.3 beta but still error (-1). Now the customer is blaming that he had checked another person who was saying that its baseband is corrupted thru wrong file flashing.. My question is if 10.3.2 (which is still signed version) in itune can corrupt a baseband!! Because error (-1) comes if there is a problem in baseband ic..
