iOS 11 beta 2 appstore issue

Do you have any other mdm profiles on your device? Corporte like Mobile Iron to manage the device?

iPad Pro and Beta 2, no issues.

1) Check developer profiles, remove any old/unwanted profiles

2) Restart fully

3) Beta 1 automatically set my region to Japan(odd right?), I had to change it: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201389

4) If all else fails, download the IPSW and force install it again via iTunes.

I have the same issue, and I tried many ways to fix this problem... but still not worked until I try to set DNS to 4.2.2.1. by the way. I don’t know it’s working or not in your region... but you can try it.

Hi Jeson, how did you find the correct DNS server? And WTH one must change it to download the apps?

I had the same problem (on a public beta, release 15A5304j), after I installed iOS 11 I couldn't download any app (even those automatically deleted just before the install because of lack of space). I tried 3 different DNS (my Italian ISP, OpenDNS and dns.watch) without success.

Now using 4.2.2.1it is working!

This is really odd.

EDIT: it worked only for 2 apps (Snapchat and YouTube), now I'm trying do download PayPal and it does nothing :-(

Sorry for the somehow naive questions/concerns but here's my status:

1) Upgraded to IOS 11 from 10.2

2) Iphone 6s

Problems:

1) Can't access the corporate webpages through VPN

2) Can't signin to Apple Store

3) The notifications can't get fully deleted, I keep remove them and they keep show up in the notification center

4) Can't close ALL the open apps, I can close all-1, the last one always remains accessible after trying to close it

5) The Iphone 6s is really unresponsive sometimes, with the screen going black for seconds

6) Apps shutdown (actually go to background mode) by themselves (or by IOS in fact), I'm just looking at an app and suddently I see the homescreen and I have to doubletap home button to bring back the app which dissapeared to the background. When I bring it back, sometimes it is reset and goes to splashscreen

Now, I hear about all betas and stuff, but I'm new to the beta programme. I got it, we use unstable beta software and that comes at assumed risk.

Now we come to (the disclaimed) naive questions:

Where do we find out when the above issues will be solved?

How can I download the latest IOS11 version, does apple push any fixes to our devices without further implications from our side?

How do I know if I run a Beta1 or Beta2 or BetaN?

Sounds like you've got a corporate profile installed on your iPhone and they seem to be causing a number of issues with IOS 11 beta installs so far, so try removing and 3rd party profiles and rebooting your iPhone and see if that makes a difference.

Are you using the public beta or do you have a paid developer account?

You can get info on which beta your using in Settings/General/About... If you're running Version 11(15A5304i) then that's the developer beta 2, I'm not sure what the public beta version number is.

I'm running IOS 11 beta 2 on my 6s and I've had very few issues, none of them serious.

Have you had any success yet? I can't wait to see what the Public Beta 2 has done to fix this issue.....oh wait......they didn't fix it on the Developer's 2nd issue.....Does anyone from Apple even read these forums?

I reset all settings (doesn’t wipe data) and store works again. Just need to input Apple ID again.

i had this same problem and it was driving me insane! I reset my settings and everything is golden. Thanks for the tip!

apparently this oonly fixed my issue for like 20 minutes...I haven’t been able to install anything else since yesterday. i reset everything again and i still cant download any apps. Guess it’s back to the drawing board...

Found out same as you, only fixed issue for a short time. Went back to not being able to download, but still able to update. Can still install apps through iTunes when connected to PC, so at least it’s a band-aid for now.
