TestFlight Beta Contract Missing – ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING

Hello, I am unable to use TestFlight for any app (existing or new), while production uploads work normally.

All TestFlight actions fail with: ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING

There are no pending agreements in App Store Connect. This is an older account that previously used TestFlight successfully.

This appears to be a missing or detached TestFlight Beta contract on Apple’s backend. Could this be manually reattached or re-provisioned?

This is time-sensitive, as I need a TestFlight external testers link to submit an app for an upcoming hackathon.

Apple Support case ID (for reference): 102817552619

Thank you.

Thanks for the post @mehroz_dev

The issue you described should be resolved now. Please upload another build after 48 hours, in order to start testing again.

Thanks for reporting this and let me know if you get in any other issue!

Hello @DTS Engineer, this issue was resolved for a day and then again same thing started happening again. And I also noticed that I am unable to transfer any app, it says App Transfer is not available for your account. Can you please escalate following case ids, as I have to submit my app to hackathon within next 24 hours.

@mehroz_dev

I would recommend you to contact the developer account support at https://developer.apple.com/contact to make sure they are aware of the issue.

Thanks

@DTS Engineer I already contacted them like 2 weeks ago and even submitted support request after few days of my first request, but I am not getting any response, so what should I do? There is no way for me to resolve the issue that’s why I posted on forum.

@DTS Engineer I have the same issue and I see many others have as well. There is no way to fix this right now and I am unable to have my app on testflight because of this.

@manhattanferrari Have you contacted that team with the link I provided on my last post?

@DTS Engineer I have just contacted them and was just told to wait for the issue to be fixed. Error is ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING, seems to be a recurring issue in the forum as well.

@DTS Engineer I am experiencing the exact same ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING issue.

Cannot submit builds for external TestFlight review and cannot install builds as an internal tester — "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist."

All agreements, banking, tax forms are Active. App Privacy published, Age Rating completed. Tested across builds 15, 16, and 17 (version 1.0.0 and 1.0.1). 422 error confirmed in browser console.

App: Evolve (Bundle ID: sa.evolve.app) Apple Support Case: 102897579430

Could you please escalate or reset the Beta Contract on my account? This is blocking my app launch.

Thank you.

Thanks for those reports, looks like you already have cases with that correct team that are looking and escalating those.

Thanks for providing this in the forum for other developers to find the way, hopefully is resolved quickly and you can launch your app.

@DTS Engineer — I am experiencing the same ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING error and would appreciate your assistance.

Details:

  • App name: Máy tính Pro+
  • Bundle ID: io.minhtran.calculator
  • Team ID: 4KT49D5U48
  • Build version: 1.0.0 (build 9), uploaded on June 17, 2026
  • Build ID: 9878f1e3-b4c4-45f0-8d0e-8b6026315523
  • Platform: iOS (iPhone, arm64, min OS 13.0)
  • Apple Support Case ID: 102918741179

Issues observed:

  1. Internal testing: The build appears in TestFlight, but installing it fails with: "Máy tính Pro+ is not available or doesn't exist."
  2. External testing: Adding a build to an external group fails with HTTP 422 — ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING: "Beta Contract is missing."

All agreements (Paid Applications, Banking, Tax) are Active in App Store Connect. There are no pending agreements. The build is processingState: VALID, internalBuildState: IN_BETA_TESTING, and externalBuildState: READY_FOR_BETA_SUBMISSION — so the build itself is valid, but the Beta Contract appears to be missing or detached on the backend.

Could you please escalate case 102918741179 or re-provision the Beta Contract for this account? Thank you.

I am experiencing the same issue with FatFlow.

App: FatFlow Apple ID: 6781022888 Bundle ID: app.fatflow.mobile Version: 2.4 Affected builds: 24, 25, and 26 Support case: 102917801202

All builds upload and process successfully. The Developer Program License Agreement has been accepted, the account is active, Free Apps Agreement is active, App Privacy and Age Rating are completed.

Internal TestFlight install still fails, and external TestFlight submission returns:

422 ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING “Beta contract is missing for the app.”

This appears to be a backend TestFlight beta contract issue for the app record. Could an Apple engineer please reattach/reset the missing beta contract or escalate this to the TestFlight/App Store Connect backend team?

This is blocking launch. Thank you.

I just had the issue today with the same error

422 ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING “Beta contract is missing for the app."

Any one get the issue fixed yet?

Same here — ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING, still happening.

App: Mini Training (Apple ID 6781241371, Team ID ZWQ7BB7572). Internal TestFlight install fails with "Unable to Install"; external Beta App Review submission returns HTTP 422 BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING. Builds 26–29 affected; build 25 was the last that installed.

All agreements (Free + Paid), banking and tax are Active, no pending agreements, License Agreement accepted, build VALID. So this is the same backend beta-contract issue, and it's clearly not resolved given the recent reports here.

Could an Apple engineer please escalate and re-provision/reattach the Beta Contract for App ID 6781241371 / Team ID ZWQ7BB7572? Thank you.

Hi,

I’m experiencing the 422 Beta error every time I try to install my TestFlight build.

App information:

  • App name: Stallkoll
  • Bundle ID: se.stallkollapp.app
  • Apple Developer Program: Individual Account
  • Distribution: TestFlight
  • Build uploaded using Codemagic

Apple Support has already confirmed that my Apple Developer account verification is approved, and all required documents have been accepted.

I have already tried:

  • Creating multiple new builds.
  • Removing and re-adding myself as a tester.
  • Reinstalling TestFlight.
  • Logging out and back into my Apple ID.
  • Confirming Agreements, Tax and Banking are complete.
  • Waiting over a week.
  • Contacting Apple Support several times.

In Codemagic, the upload finds my app correctly, but during App Store Connect distribution I repeatedly see:

“Did not find build matching uploaded version yet, it might be still processing. Waiting to try again…”

The build eventually appears in TestFlight, but it still cannot be installed and always results in the 422 Beta error.

I’ve now been blocked for over a week and really need to release my app.

Has anyone experienced this issue, or could someone from Apple please investigate whether there is something wrong with my App Store Connect account or TestFlight configuration?

Thank you!

Same issue here with a newly activated account (membership activated Jul 6, 2026).

  • Beta review submission fails with ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING (both via web UI and the ASC API)
  • Internal testers get "the requested app is not available or doesn't exist" in TestFlight
  • Free Apps and Paid Apps agreements both show Active in Business > Agreements
  • Builds are VALID; beta review details complete
  • Uploading a new build did not help

Team ID: 996D5YYWMR. Support case ID: 102935263325. Hoping Apple can re-provision the beta contract on the backend.

Same issue here on a brand-new app (created 2026-07-06), built via Expo EAS.

App: com.bw2rtpwl4h.vocablock — Apple ID 6787957255 — Team BW2RTPWL4H.

Internal builds (6–10, v1.0.0) fail to install for all internal testers including the Account Holder: "The requested app is not available or doesn't exist." Device log shows POST to testflight.apple.com/v2/accounts/<acct>/apps/6787957255/builds/221045761/install returning HTTP 404, failureReason "Error Downloading Install Data"; installd never runs.

Build is VALID / internalBuildState IN_BETA_TESTING, in an internal group, export compliance + age rating set, Free Apps Agreement Active, .ipa correctly App Store distribution-signed. But a beta review submission via the API returns: HTTP 422 — ENTITY_UNPROCESSABLE.BETA_CONTRACT_MISSING — "Beta Contract is missing." (error id 9e3db6b2-ebaa-4843-9ce1-4e7220cca5e8)

Filed Developer Support case 102936497722 and FB[your-FB-number]. Requesting a Beta Contract reset for this app. Has anyone here had theirs reset yet, and how long did it take?

I am experiencing exactly the same issue.

For the past several days, I have been unable to install or test any of my applications through TestFlight. This has completely blocked my development workflow.

All builds upload successfully, are processed correctly in App Store Connect, and appear as available in TestFlight. However, every time I try to install a build, the installation fails.

Here is what I have already verified:

Builds upload and process successfully. The builds appear in TestFlight. Certificates and provisioning profiles appear to be valid. I have signed out and back into my Apple ID. I have tried different devices and users. The issue affects all of my TestFlight applications, not just one.

I have already contacted Apple Support, but I have not yet received a resolution.

At this point, I suspect there may be an issue with my Apple Developer account, TestFlight configuration, or a backend issue on Apple's side rather than with any specific application.

Has anyone had their account checked or their issue resolved by Apple? If so, what was the solution?
