App Review delayed for payment-related critical update

Hi,

My app submission has been waiting for review for an unusually long time after submission.

This update is very important for us because it is related to payments. At the moment, a payment-related issue is preventing us from properly collecting revenue, so this is becoming a critical problem for our business.

I submitted a request for an expedited review, but so far I have not received any action or update. I do not use the expedited review option often - only when there is a genuinely critical issue that needs to be resolved quickly.

Could someone from Apple advise whether this waiting time is normal, or if there is anything I should check or do on my side?

Just to add a short follow-up:

The submission is still waiting for review, and we have not received any update or message in the Resolution Center.

This update is blocking a payment-related fix and our planned production rollout, including infrastructure changes that are already prepared on our side.

Could someone from Apple please confirm whether anything is missing from our side, or whether the submission is simply waiting to be assigned for review?

After your message, our submission was reviewed. We received additional comments from App Review, reviewed them, and provided the required updates and information in App Store Connect.

Would it be possible to have the updated submission reviewed as soon as possible? This release is important for us and is currently blocking our planned rollout.
