Update — August 10, 2026:

Since my original post on August 3:

• On August 4, Apple requested information under Guideline 2.1. We replied to all 5 questions the same day and resubmitted.
• On August 6, an expedited review was approved.
• As of today, August 10 (4 business days later), the status is still "Waiting for Review" with no change.

The app has now been in review processes for over 80 days (since May 19, 2026).

Any help from the App Review team would be greatly appreciated.

Update — August 17, 2026:

Build 3 submitted August 12 with all issues resolved:

• Guideline 5.1.1(v): login/registration screen completely removed
• Guideline 1.1: keywords updated, no objectionable terms
• Guideline 2.1: all technical questions answered on August 4

Four expedited review requests approved (Aug 6, 12, 14, 17). Status unchanged: "Waiting for Review" for 5 days.

Total time in review processes: 90 days since May 19, 2026.

This submission resolves all previously raised guidelines:

• 5.1.1(v): login screen removed entirely
• 1.1: keywords and metadata cleaned
• 2.3.3: screenshots updated
• 2.1: all technical questions answered

Multiple expedited review requests have been approved but none actioned. This app has been in review processes since May 19, 2026 — over 95 days total.

Could the App Review team please investigate?

Update — August 28, 2026 Following the Guideline 1.1 rejection on v3.1.0, I updated the promotional text removing any language that could be associated with creation or generation of synthetic content. All references now exclusively describe detection and verification functionality. Resubmitted v3.1.0 today. Apple confirmed an expedited review. Status is now "Waiting for Review." Will update this thread with the outcome. For anyone facing a similar rejection on a detection/verification app: the issue was in the promotional text metadata, not the app functionality itself.

Update — September 4, 2026:

Previous submission was stuck in "Waiting for Review" for 18 days with no movement despite multiple approved expedited reviews. Cancelled and resubmitted with fresh submission ID on September 4.

I had an app started waiting for review on July 16th and got reviewed and approved Aug 13th.

I’m in the same situation, but I’m still waiting for. I think I started in May, sorted a couple of things out, but I'm still waiting from July.

Rough one. FWIW after that many rounds it's probs worth running the whole listing through something like appclearance.com before the next resubmit, most of your rejections were metadata rather than the app itself.

Thanks for the suggestion. I checked appclearance.com but couldn't find it. Do you have the correct URL? In the meantime, we've already manually reviewed and cleaned all metadata fields — keywords, description, promotional text, and screenshots — removing any terms that could be considered objectionable. The current submission has no references to specific threat types in any metadata field. Hopefully this one goes through.

Update — September 8, 2026:

Fresh submission (ID: 16a5dbfb) submitted September 4 after previous submission was stuck for 18 days. Now 5 days with no movement on new submission. Daily expedited reviews approved but none actioned.

All guidelines resolved in build 3:

• 5.1.1(v): login removed
• 1.1: metadata and keywords cleaned
• 2.3.3: screenshots updated
• 2.1: technical questions answered

Day 112 in review processes since May 19, 2026. No reviewer has picked up the app.

@Ragno23 Wow 112 days, no kidding? I'm having the same problem, however Apple employees have confirmed that it's a technical issue. I'm hoping they'll figure something out soon. I've been waiting since July 31.

@SonLe1106 Thanks for the update. Good to hear TestFlight is moving again. Hopefully the production queue follows soon. Still waiting since September 4 on my end, day 114. Please keep us posted if you hear anything else from Apple engineering.

Finally reviewed today after 7 days. Only one issue found: promotional text in English (Guideline 1.1). Already corrected. Build was not formally rejected — still active in queue.

The pattern is converging: from 3 issues to 2 to 1. Hoping next review will be the final approval.

Expedited review submitted. Day 123 since first submission.

Update — September 15, 2026:

Last review was September 11. Only issue: one line of promotional text (already corrected within minutes). Build was not formally rejected — still active in queue with status "Waiting for Review" since then. 4 days with no movement despite daily expedited reviews.

It seems the overall situation is improving — some developers are getting through — but delays persist. Hoping today's expedited review will finally push this through.

Appointment requested for September 25 but slots filled immediately.

Day 126 since first submission. One text field away from approval.

Have you tried going in Events and checking "App review appointment" ones and booking? You might have more insight and your questions answered face to face.
