No response after 4.3(a) rejection, unlisted distribution already approved

Hello,

Our app (Apple ID 6797897487) is an internal operations tool built under contract for a single business. It was rejected under guideline 4.3(a) on 29 August. We replied in App Store Connect on 31 August and on 10 September, adding that Apple had approved unlisted app distribution for the app on 8 September, but we have not received any response since.

What is the recommended next step here? Should we resubmit the same build with the updated information, or wait for a reply to the existing messages?

We are facing the same issue. Apple has rejected our app for 4.3(a), and we've written back to them on August 27th and have heard nothing from them since. We resubmitted a build on Sept 14, and got the exact same rejection on Sept 15 with an added warning that they can remove my developer account if I keep submitting the app. Wrote about our case here.

At a loss as to what we're supposed to do here. Tremendously disappointed with Apple's handling of this so far.

Unlisted-distribution approval is a separate, lighter check than the public App Store review, so having it doesn't mean 4.3(a) will clear on its own resubmitting the identical build usually just repeats the same rejection (another commenter here did exactly that and got a warning about repeated submissions). Since Resolution Center has gone quiet, the App Review Board request form citing the unlisted-distribution approval date as evidence the app itself was reviewed and cleared is the more reliable next step than resubmitting unchanged.
