App Review Time

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for advice from other developers who have experienced long delays with Apple App Review and, hopefully, some assistance from someone at Apple who can look into my situation.

My first iOS app, Parozo: Restaurant POS & KOT (version 1.0.0, build 6), has been stuck in “Waiting for Review” since October 4, 2026. As of today, October 13, it has been waiting for approximately nine days, and the review process still hasn’t started.

I’ve contacted Apple App Review and Developer Support multiple times, but unfortunately, I haven’t received a meaningful response or any update explaining the delay.

I also have an existing App Review support case (Case ID: 102988509189), but the issue remains unresolved.

I understand that review times can vary, especially for a first submission, and I’m not asking Apple to bypass its review guidelines. My concern is the prolonged waiting period combined with the lack of communication, despite repeated attempts to reach support.

As developers, we rely on the App Store review process to launch our products and plan our business activities. When a submission remains pending without any communication, it’s difficult to know whether we simply need to wait or whether some action is required from our side.

I’m hoping this post might reach someone from Apple who can help check the submission status or direct me to the appropriate escalation channel.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation recently? If you managed to get a response or resolve a submission that was stuck in “Waiting for Review,” I’d really appreciate hearing what worked for you.

Thank you.

I have multiple apps that have been in “Waiting for Review” since October 8, and I’m finding the lack of progress increasingly frustrating.

I suspect the growing use of AI-assisted development may be contributing to a significant increase in app submissions. If that’s the case, it’s understandable that Apple’s review team may be dealing with a higher volume than usual. However, it also raises questions about whether the current review process is adequately equipped to handle that growth.

I’ve been submitting apps for years, and I remember when reviews were generally completed much more quickly. The difference between then and now is noticeable.

I understand that Apple’s guidelines outline several reasons why an app review might take longer. However, those explanations don’t necessarily help developers understand why their particular submissions remain in the queue for an extended period.

My frustration isn’t simply about having to wait. It’s about the lack of visibility into what’s happening. If review times have increased because of submission volume, additional review requirements, or other operational factors, it would be helpful for Apple to communicate that.

Developers invest considerable time and effort into building, testing, and preparing their applications for release. Unpredictable review timelines make it difficult to plan launches, coordinate updates, and manage expectations.

I’m not asking for preferential treatment or immediate approval. I’m simply asking for greater transparency, more realistic review timelines, and better communication when delays occur.

I’d also be interested to know whether other developers are experiencing similar delays with submissions made in early October.
