How long it takes to get Apple Developer Account?

I just got to know it actually means unto 2 business days. So if you have applied on Friday then exclude Saturday and Sunday. The process is slow...

Same for me. I am waiting for more then 1 week to get an approval. They didnt charge my card but also dont provide any updates

Did they approve?? I enrolled last week but they didn’t deduct any $$ from my end.. but they sent an email that’s saying my order will be processed after 2 business days and yet got no response yet

Mine is rolling into the 7th month now and still pending.

Here's the brief story of the greatest frustration of my life. I applied to the apple developer programme on march 2024, then proceeded to submit all my corporate information as required. An advisor also called me for follow up and everything was approved adequately and I was told to pay $99, so on 2nd April 2024, I paid my $99

To my surprise, all the information that was approved was asked again under the 'business' menu which I supplied again so that I can accept paid app agreement, but this time, my submitted information was 'pending' for months.

I sent almost 100 emails and calls, but I only got responded once a week.and the response was always that I should be patient that my information was being verified.this is sad because my subscription was already burning meanwhile the same info was earlier approved during enrollment.

Do note that without the approval, I can't sign paid app agreement and that means my apps all have to be free.

At around my 100th email, my corporate information was approved on 27th August 2024.

At last, I was sad and glad and I rushed to my bank to get my banking information so as not to have issues with that. I submitted my banking info immediately, buy sadly till this moment 20th of October, it is also 'pending'.

I have resumed contacting them but only get replied once a week with statement that I should be patient for my banking info to be verified.

I still can't release paid app agreement because my information was said to still being verified since 2 April. That $99 was a lot to me.but they collected it and waste away my enrollment period while leaving me and my business to rot.

2 April 2024 - 20th Oct 2024, I have gone from one frustration to another.

I belief my case is rare. At this moment,I am sad and I have already given up on the case because I have sent more than 20mails already and also called (they claim dev. Programme support can only be contacted by mail)

They ruined my business and proved to me I don't worth anything. If I have money,I would sue them,but God knows I can't afford that.

Currently seeking another $99 to make another enrollment,this time,I will enroll as individual and not corporate (even though my business is valid without a single blemish)

It's a sad experience for me that hasn't been resolved.

mine has been 3 weeks now for personal account, although I have been debited still no response from apple support team

Just placed my order on 1 June 2025 (money charged from my bank account) and also WWDC coming so I think I will have to await a bit longer than usual for my developer account activated :/.

I have been suffering from this issue for a long time, and finally, today, I was able to enroll in the program and get my account.

First, about a year ago I used my main Apple ID to enroll in the program and I filled everything but I couldn't make a payment since I didn't have the sufficient amount.

Then recently I tried again with the same account and in the apple developer account I saw the message like "you cant enroll at this time." then I contacted support regarding this matter and they told my account is not eligible any more to get a developer account (probably I haven't made the payment last time)

So I created a new Apple ID about a couple of weeks ago and continued the enrollment process on the website, and I filled in all the details and came to the payment section. But even though I added my card details, the payment was not made. I thought that after a day or two, I would be charged. But it didn't happen. then I again contacted support and notified this issue and I got this reply.

"Hello Lasitha,

Thank you for contacting Developer Support. My name is Benson, and I am happy to assist you today.

I understand your concern about the membership not activating after the payment attempt. Since your previous order was canceled and Apple received no money, we recommend using the Apple Developer App to submit your new enrollment.

When you’re ready to submit an enrollment:

1 Open this email on an iOS, iPadOS, or macOS device.

2 Tap here to open the Apple Developer app from the App Store.

3 Sign in to the app and follow in-app guidance to enroll."

Basically they said to enroll with the Apple Developer mobile app instead of using the webflow.

then I tried that way and I was charged (99USD) thorugh in app purchase I belive.

So I thought like now I will have the account. But again I have waited about 3 4 days and no reply came. then I contacted support aggain and I was told this.

"This is Quadir with Developer Support, I hope you’re doing well today. I understand you’re having issues regarding purchasing your Apple Developer Program membership and I’m more than happy to help.

If you submitted your payment 48 hours ago, follow these steps to troubleshoot your payment issue:

Open a Private Browsing window in Safari and try paying again. Make sure the billing information is correct and that it matches what your financial institution has on file. Confirm with your financial institution. If you still can’t complete your purchase, try another card. It can take up to 48 hours to process your order after you submit it. "

So they are saying something about my bank details, But I was already charged. then immidietly I contacted the support again saying I was already charged (BTW I have already told them that with my previous report. I dont know why they sent me this).

After the last report today I received an email saying my enrollment is complete and I now have a developer account.

It's terrifying to hear some have waited 7 months. I'm on my 7th day. Very confused. And I'm based in the United States, so there's no international stuff getting in the way.

So I went to "support > contact us" page and saw my open report to apple, regarding the wait. In there, there's a request a call feature inside the "get more help" button. In moments someone gave me a call. I explained I was waiting a week. He apologised, put me on a brief hold, and then pushed the application through so now my account no longer reads as "pending".

I very much encourage anybody else facing long waits to follow this pattern.
